Eureka Mignon Instantaneo Espresso Grinder
No, the Mignon is not a steak, it's a grinder (what business do you think we're in here?)! And it's really no wonder how this super-functional grinder got its name, either. Meaning 'dainty' in French, the Eureka Mignon grinder manages to pack all the features of Eureka's professional grinder into a petite footprint. Pair its teeny-tiny size with the MCI's stepless adjustment, plus a much quieter motor, and you're looking at your new favorite espresso grinder.
Features
-
Programmable Dosing - The Mignon can be programmed to grind a specific dose or configured to grind continuously.
-
Stepless Adjustment - The micro-metrical adjustment knob allows for easy and precise grind settings.
-
Removable Bean Hopper - The bean hopper holds 8 ounces of beans and includes a gate that can be closed when removing to prevent bean spills!
-
Portafilter Holder - The Eureka Mignon includes a removable portafilter holder. Simply remove this holder when grinding into a container.
-
Heavy Duty Construction - The Mignon is built like a tank to withstand heavy use.
-
Quiet - At only 73 Decibels the Mignon is quieter than most other grinders.
Stepless micrometrical adjustment: Allows for precise adjustments to the grind setting. Dial is located on the top left of the grinder underneath the bean hopper. Turn clockwise for a finer grind and counter clockwise for a coarser grind.
-
Adjustable fork: Distance from top of fork to coffee chute is approximately 2.25". It can be moved down approximately 0.375" to accommodate different size portafilters or removed completely to put a container.
-
Optimally sized bean hopper: Holds approximately 8 ounces of roasted beans for plenty of espresso shots. Ergonomically design to keep the overall height low and not to stick out beyond the rest of the grinder. A set screw holds the hopper in place as opposed to other grinders which are friction fit. It is also equipped with a stopper if you want to remove the hopper with the beans in it, and a finger guard...just in case.
-
Easy controls: Located on the right of the grinder. The large switch turns the grinder on. The button on the lower right switches the grinder from semi-automatic (pushed out) to timer (pushed in). The knob on the lower left adjusts the amount of time the grinder will run. Turn clockwise to increase time and counter clockwise to decrease time. Push the pressure plate in front of the grinder underneath the coffee chute to start grinding!
